Dr. Fergusson, Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Wallen feel that in order to provide the best possible medical care, a partnership must be formed between the physician and the family. They practice traditional medical care as supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics. They support the AAP’s immunization schedule and guidelines and believe that all children deserve the right to be free from preventable infectious diseases. They also believe that with every patient and every day, they continue to grow and learn. That’s why they actively teach nursing students, physician assistant students and pediatric residents in our community. They are also actively involved in research projects at Children’s National Medical Center. In the past, they have worked on projects related to pediatric obesity and population health on pediatric asthma.
